We covered topics such as Windows Defender which comes with Microsoft, ensuring you have a virus scanning program on your device, make sure there are no RED marks and that the software is being updated and scanning. We also talked about how to check if your device is getting the weekly or updates from Microsoft.

Time: 2:00 pm We will meet then but the races run all day so you can come and go as you please.

SIDNEY SCULPTURE WALK
What: We will walk around the Sidney waterfront to shoot the very interesting sculptures. This is a good opportunity to practice with aperture priority! Lets hope for a nice day.

What: A very colourful action packed event

When: Saturday June 23rd We will meet then but the event also runs Thursday and Friday. So go on your own if Saturday is not suitable, as long as you go and get a few shots in 🙂

Ron Brown from Comox and APCUG, gave a very informative presentation, with lots of learning for all of us. Please review and try some of the features mentioned. I never knew all of these things about the history of cameras and digital cameras!

We covered many interesting things we should do BEFORE we lose our Android phone or tablet, as well as using the Google features to Find my phone. This ended up being a very good learning experience for us all.
Write down the IEMI, Model, Make, Serial Number and put it somewhere safe! Take a picture and save in the cloud.
